Our Staff

Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced professionals. All audiologists are licensed professionals and all maintain more than the required number of CEUs. Our goal is to provide you the best possible hearing care, based upon your individual needs. We provide a comprehensive array of services related to prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of hearing impairment.

Mary Caccavo Ph.D.
Audiologist

Mary Caccavo At the Lafayette Hearing Center, Dr. Mary Caccavo consults individually with patients, conducts hearing tests and fits hearing instruments. Her professional expertise and personal approach will help you feel comfortable and confident. Dr Caccavo graduated from Purdue University with a doctorate in audiology, the highest degree attainable. She is a licensed audiologist, and has been fitting hearing aids since 1979. She takes the time to get to know you, to understand your individual hearing needs and to provide the best solutions to enhance your life. Dr Caccavo maintains an ongoing personal relationship by meeting with you for all follow-up and service appointments.

Susan Lopez, M.A.
Audiologist

Susan Lopez Susan Lopez is a friendly, professional audiologist with the Lafayette Hearing Center. She works with patients doing hearing testing and fitting hearing instruments. She has worked at several major teaching hospitals, including the Medical University of South Carolina as well as the University of Miami's Ear Institute. Mrs. Lopez graduated with her masters degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and is finishing her professional doctorate at the University of Florida. She has been fitting hearing instruments for over 15 years. Mrs. Lopez, fluent in English and Spanish, is a licensed audiologist and she looks forward to helping you reach your hearing health goals.

Peggy Grau
Patient Care Coordinator


Mary Caccavo Peggy Grau has been the patient coordinator at the Lafayette Hearing Center since 2006. Peggy oversees customer care issues and provides individualized service for patients' hearing instrument needs. Mrs. Grau moved to Indiana from Methuen, Massachusetts as her husband Jeff is employed at Purdue University's Birck Nanotechnology Center. Peggy has two adult children––a son, Fred, and a daughter, Donna.
