Our Staff

Our staff is made up of only highly trained, experienced clinicians. All clinicians are licensed professionals and all maintain more than the required number of CEUs.

Our goal is to provide you the best possible hearing care, based upon your individual needs. We provide a comprehensive array of services related to prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of hearing impairment.

Caccavo Ph.D.Mary Caccavo Ph.D.


At the Lafayette Hearing Center, Dr. Mary Caccavo consults individually with patients, conducts hearing tests and fits hearing instruments. Her professional expertise and personal approach will help you feel comfortable and confident.

Dr Caccavo graduated from Purdue University with a doctorate in audiology, the highest degree attainable. She is a licensed audiologist, and has been fitting hearing aids since 1979.

She takes the time to get to know you, to understand your individual hearing needs and to provide the best solutions to enhance your life.

Dr Caccavo maintains an ongoing personal relationship by meeting with you for all follow-up and service appointments.

Administrative Assistant

Peggy Grau is the patient coordinator at the Lafayette Hearing Center. Peggy oversees customer care issues and provides individualized service for patients hearing instrument needs.
Mrs. Grau moved to Indiana from Methuen, Massachusetts as her husband Jeff is employed at Purdue University's Birck Nanotechnology Center. Peggy has two adult children, a son Fred (currently) a student at Ivy Tech, and a daughter Donna (currently) a student at Ball State University.
